BOARD VOTES NEW SUPERINTENDENT

RICHLAND (MO): The Richland R-4 School Board has made the decision on the New Superintendent of Schools. In a Special Session on Monday, March 19th they have Decided to make Mr. Brian Lee, Current Superintendent of Schools of the Scott City School District, the new Superintendent of Schools for the 2019-2020, and 2020-2021 School years. The Outgoing Superintendent Mr. Doug Smith, which is retiring at the end of this school year. Smith, been with Richland for over a decade serving as Sup

erintendent of Schools, JR/SR High School Principal, and a Agriculture Teacher. Smith has also Served as Principal at Iberia, and Rich Hill, and serving as a Agriculture teacher at Rich Hill for 8 years. The Bear Buzz, wishes the Best of Luck to Current Superintendent Mr. Doug Smith on his Retirement. The Bear Buzz also welcome's Mr. Brian Lee as the new Superintendent of Schools for years to come.
